About
01The founder
Kessaku Studio was founded by Richard Mendy, an active fighting-game tournament organizer and streamer who uses this hardware daily.
That matters for one practical reason. Creators can tell within a message whether the person writing to them plays, or whether they are buying media. The first gets a reply and a real conversation about whether a product suits the channel. The second gets a rate card, if it gets anything.
It also changes what a shortlist looks like. Knowing which creators actually compete, which ones review honestly, and which ones have quietly used a competitor's hardware for two years is not something you can extract from a follower-count database.
02Hardware only
Kessaku works on gaming hardware and peripherals: keyboards, mice, controllers, fight sticks, headsets, monitors and PC components. Nothing else.
This is a deliberate limit, not a stage we are growing out of. A generalist agency running a mobile game campaign on Monday and a keyboard launch on Tuesday knows the platforms well and the category shallowly. The creators who move hardware are a small, specific group, and keeping the category narrow is what makes it possible to know them properly.
03Two languages, natively
Campaigns run in French and English. Briefing, negotiation and the ongoing creator relationship all happen in the creator's own language, not through a translated brief that loses its precision on the way.
For a brand outside France, that also covers the part most easily missed: French influencer marketing is regulated, the obligations reach the advertiser as well as the creator, and the briefs we write account for it.
04The name
Kessaku is 傑作, Japanese for masterpiece. The two characters are the studio's mark: 傑 alone as the signature, 傑作 together as the seal.
05How we work
One point of contact throughout. A shortlist you approve before anything moves. Contracts, logistics and briefing handled for you. A publication schedule you can see rather than ask about.
And reporting that includes what underperformed. Campaigns produce results that are uneven, some creators land and some do not, and an agency that only reports the good half is not telling you what your budget bought.
